Description
The daughter of our beautiful grey Pewter and 1/2 Accoyo white Igon, Kimaree has inherited her dam's sweet disposition and her sire's incredibly dense fleece from head to toes.
She is extremely friendly and the one every visitor to the ranch falls in love with. Check out her own web page under "News" Click on "I love Alpacas" .
Kimaree's first and only cria, was a white male sired by multiple blue ribbon winner and 1st place Get of Sire, El R Peruvian Luciano (Rose Grey). She wasn't friendly anymore during her pregnancy and we were sad to have lost our sweet girl and decided not to breed her again.
Her fiber at 16 years old is now too short to be spun and I use it to stuff pillows with Alpaca/llama themed fabric covers.
As we alpaca breeders know, most of our charges are friendly, curious creatures. Most of them will come up to visitors, sniff their hands (in hopes of extra pellets?) and move away, resuming what it was they were doing. And then there’s Kimaree. She really likes visitors and doesn’t care if there are additional treats. Instead, she encourages neck scratches, top knot smoothing, general clean up of her fleece, and much petting. She doesn’t discriminate either. Small children from a day care center get the same attention as a dozen ladies in red hats and purple outfits.
We really don't want to sell her, hence the price! One of the 3rd graders last year asked about her price and when I told her she exclaimed: "and I bet that's because you don't want to sell her!" Is she smart or what?

"Hi, Renate, Thanks so much for the fantastic tour and the photos with Kimaree, they are great! I'm looking forward to the knitting project and continuing to learn more about alpacas and fiber art."

"Hello Renate, I want to thank you for giving me such a great tour of your Alpacas Ranch. I've learned a lot from my trip. Meeting Kimaree was the highlight of my visit. I can't wait to make use of my nice hats, neck warmer during my next Winter outing. I've shared the photos among all my friends and was suggested by one of my friend that I should frame this photo of Kimaree & I. Her good looks really puts me to shame though. ha-ha! Thought I share it with you! Kimaree has won many hearts here in Sol Cal! I shared your web site with many of my family & friends. I wish I can be there next weekend to watch your alpacas being shorn. Hope I can do that someday. Hugs & kisses to Kimaree and the crew (smile)! Again, with heartfelt thanks for such wonderful tour, it was an experience that I won't soon forget. - Jan "

"Thank you so much for the photos. I really enjoyed the tour of your wonderful farm. Your animals are obviously well loved and cared for. I took your yarn to work to show my friends that knit and they loved it!
